Users may either request to have their account deleted, or they may initiate the deletion process for their account manually:
1. Users may initiate the deletion process for their in-game account via the app’s in-game “Delete Account” button.
i. Users may navigate to the “Settings” menu and then press “Delete Account”.
ii. Once pressed, users will be prompted to confirm their decision. Once confirmed, users will be informed that the deletion process has begun.
iii. The account deletion process takes 30 days from moment of confirmation.
iv. Users must not log in to the game using the account that is flagged for deletion within these 30 days, otherwise the deletion process is canceled.
v. Once deleted, data associated with the account is completely deleted and inaccessible (NOTE: Certain information such as payment history and customer service exchanges may be retained for legal and/or accounting purposes)
2. Users may request to have their account deleted via email.
i. Users may email support@joyeggs.com with a request for account deletion.
ii. The email must include: (1) The user ID of the account they wish to have deleted, (2) their name or in-game username, and (3) a request for their account to be deleted.
iii. Once our support staff has confirmed with the user that their account deletion request has been received, we will begin the account deletion process for them.
iv. The account deletion process takes 30 days from moment of confirmation.
v. Users must not log in to the game using the account that is flagged for deletion within these 30 days, otherwise the deletion process is canceled.
vi. Once deleted, data associated with the account is completely deleted and inaccessible (NOTE: Certain information such as payment history and customer service exchanges may be retained for legal and/or accounting purposes)
3. Users may request to have their account deleted via customer service.
i. Users may contact any customer support staff using the in-game “Customer Support” function to request their account be deleted.
ii. Whether users are contacting customer support using the account they wish to have deleted or not, they must still include in their message: (1) The user ID of the account they wish to have deleted, (2) their name or in-game username, and (3) a request for their account to be deleted.
iii. Once our support staff has confirmed with the user that their account deletion request has been received, we will begin the account deletion process for them.
iv. The account deletion process takes 30 days from moment of confirmation.
v. Users must not log in to the game using the account that is flagged for deletion within these 30 days, otherwise the deletion process is canceled.
vi. Once deleted, data associated with the account is completely deleted and inaccessible (NOTE: Certain information such as payment history and customer service exchanges may be retained for legal and/or accounting purposes)
Users also have the option of requesting their data expunged without their account being deleted.
1. Users may request their data be deleted via email.
i. Users may send an email to support@joyeggs.com with a request for data deletion.
ii. The email must include: (1) The user ID of the account they wish to have deleted, (2) their name or in-game username, and (3) a request for their data to be deleted.
iii. Once our support staff has confirmed with the user that their data deletion request has been received, we will begin the data deletion process for them.
iv. The data deletion process takes up to 14 business days from moment of confirmation.
2. Users may request their data be deleted via customer service.
i. Users may contact any customer support staff using the in-game “Customer Support” function to request their data be deleted.
ii. Whether users are contacting customer support using the account they wish to have its data deleted or not, they must still include in their message: (1) The user ID of the account they wish to have deleted, (2) their name or in-game username, and (3) a request for their data to be deleted.
iii. Once our support staff has confirmed with the user that their data deletion request has been received, we will begin the data deletion process for them.
iv. The data deletion process takes up to 14 business days from moment of confirmation.
